Swapsies!
The sun has returned to New York and about time too - it felt like winter was going to drag on forever - I know it’s not over yet and that we have spring showers in our near future, but the sun has got his hat on and New York is coming out to play.
So lovely is it outside that my team mate from the Newnewteam. Anne of Muppetloon and I were tempted into central park, to chat while her 2 year old, Emma frolicked in the playground. I first encountered Anne when she featured me in 2 team treasuries in a week and I got an inkling that she rather liked my work. One of her lovely selections even got my mask and more embarrassingly my face featured on the front page. With this in mind I dropped her a line suggesting a swap.
Anne makes wonderful felted images which she then makes into a range of items from babies onesies to ipod cozies. I was dying to get my hands on a couple of little suits for my tadpole. Anne was not only happy to swap a couple of her pieces for a crocheted silver cuff, but also tonnes of useful parenting in New York advice.
